MLB Predictions Powered by Analytics
MLB predictions on Sportslyx weigh the probable starters and both teams’ recent form before anything else. Each game gets a win probability from the moneyline, an AI breakdown and a data-quality tier; the read is graded at the final out.

Today's MLB Predictions
MLB games on today's board, ordered by start time, with the public lines the feed has published. Where both moneyline prices exist, the market-derived win probability of the favourite is shown — the same number a subscriber sees on the card. The written AI breakdown for each game lives inside the product.

How MLB Predictions Are Made
Every MLB estimate on this site is anchored to the market and written from a data package assembled for that game. What follows is the MLB-specific version of the pipeline described on the methodology page.
Baseball is priced around the probable starting pitcher, and so is the package: both probable starters, each team’s recent form, run scoring and pitching statistics, the market lines and their movement, and the head-to-head history. The moneyline is de-vigged into a fair probability; the run line and total are read as context rather than re-priced. Bullpens and the park come up in the breakdown as an analyst would raise them, not as data Sportslyx ingests.
MLB is also the only sport where player props live. Prop lines — pitcher strikeouts, outs recorded, walks allowed, earned runs and hits allowed; batter hits, walks, runs and RBIs — come from the public core feed and are graded from the official box score; a player who did not play is void, not a loss, and every prop line is half-numbered so a push cannot occur. Game reads settle on the final score once the game is official.
The probability on every card is market-derived: it comes from the published prices, not from the language model's self-reported confidence. What the breakdown adds is context — why the number sits where it does, what could move it and where the package is thin — together with a data-quality tier (rich, partial or weak) that tells the model how much to claim. Feeds are public and can be delayed or incomplete; when a line is missing, the card says so instead of inventing a figure.
Markets covered for MLB: moneyline, run line, game total and player props. The full grading rules, including how voids and pushes are handled, are on the methodology page.

MLB Prediction Accuracy
Settled MLB reads by calendar month (UTC), newest first, from the same records a subscriber sees inside the product. Hit rate excludes pushes; ROI assumes a flat stake on every read.
| Month | Settled | W-L-P | Hit rate | ROI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| September 2026 | 101 | 73-28-0 | 72% | -3.5% |
| August 2026 | 380 | 301-79-0 | 79% | +1.8% |
| July 2026 | 340 | 268-65-7 | 80% | -2.2% |
| June 2026 | 353 | 280-66-7 | 81% | -1.6% |
| May 2026 | 0 | 0-0-0 | — | — |
| April 2026 | 0 | 0-0-0 | — | — |
| Total | 1174 | 922-238-14 | 79% | -0.8% |
Over the period shown: 1174 settled reads, 922-238-14 W-L-P, a hit rate of 79% and an ROI of -0.8% at a flat stake.
Baseball produces the largest sample on the site, but it mixes game reads with player props, which have different shapes: props are half-numbered and never push, and a scratched player is void. Read the W-L-P column with that in mind. Past results do not predict future results; a good month is partly variance, and the company board reads the market favourite by design, so a high hit rate at short prices is the expected shape rather than proof of an edge. Nothing here is advice — it is a record, published so you can judge the method for yourself.
Markets We Cover for MLB
The MLB package reads 4 markets from the public feeds. Each is described below with how it is used in the breakdown and, where applicable, how it is graded.
Moneyline
A straight price on which side wins. It is the market Sportslyx de-vigs into the win probability on every card and the market the company board reads by default, so its record is the deepest one on the site.
Run line
Baseball’s spread, fixed at one and a half runs. Because the favourite must win by two, the run-line price often turns the moneyline favourite into an underdog; the breakdown reads that gap as a signal about the expected margin.
Game total
The over/under on combined points, runs or goals. Totals move with pace, starters and injuries; the breakdown uses the total to describe the shape of the game the market expects rather than to re-price it.
Player props
Lines on an individual MLB player’s output: pitcher strikeouts, outs recorded, walks allowed, earned runs and hits allowed; batter hits, walks, runs and RBIs. Player props are covered for MLB only. They are graded from the official box score, and a player who does not play makes the read void rather than a loss.
MLB Prediction FAQ
Why does the MLB analysis focus on starting pitchers?
The probable starter is the single biggest input to a baseball moneyline. Sportslyx reads both starters and both teams’ recent form before producing a win probability.
Does Sportslyx cover MLB player props?
Yes. Player prop lines — pitcher strikeouts, outs, walks and earned runs; batter hits, walks, runs and RBIs — come from the public feed and are graded from the official box score.
How is an MLB prediction graded?
Game reads are graded against the final score; prop reads are graded from the box score. All results are published on the Pick Tracker.
What data powers the MLB board?
Public scoreboard and odds feeds with probable pitchers and market lines, plus Sportslyx team profiles built from that data.
