Today

Today's MLB Games

MLB games scheduled for today (UTC), ordered by start time. Each row shows the matchup, the competition, the venue where the feed lists one, and whichever public lines have been posted. Live games show the running score; finished ones show the final.

Upcoming MLB Games

The next 7 days of MLB games as the schedule feed publishes them, grouped by day. Lines usually appear a day or two before kickoff and can move a good deal before the start, so the numbers here are a snapshot, not a closing line.

The MLB Week: Schedule and Line Movement

What is particular about MLB on this board — how the seven-day window fills in, how the dates map to UTC, and what tends to move the price before the start. The grading rules and the estimate itself are explained on the MLB predictions page.

Baseball runs every day from late March through September, so the seven-day window is the fullest on the site: a dozen or more games most days, doubleheaders that put the same matchup on the board twice, and postponements that remove a game from one date and add it to a later one. Start times are shown in UTC; evening games in North America roll past midnight UTC, so the date on this page is the board date, not always the local calendar day.

The probable starting pitcher drives the MLB moneyline, and lines are often withheld until both starters are announced; a late scratch can pull the line entirely and re-post it at a different price. Totals move with the starters and recent run scoring on both sides, and MLB is also where player props live — pitcher strikeouts, outs recorded, walks, earned runs and hits allowed, plus batter hits, walks, runs and RBIs — graded from the official box score. The figures here are a snapshot from the last feed refresh, and a game without both moneylines shows no market-implied probability.

How the estimate for a MLB game is built and graded is covered on the MLB predictions page; the season-level numbers behind it live on the MLB statistics hub.

Season window

The MLB regular season runs from late March to September, followed by the postseason and the World Series in October.

Moneyline, run line, game total and player props. Every public line on this page is a snapshot from the last feed refresh, quoted in American odds, not a closing line. Player prop lines are part of the members-only board rather than this public page.

Page structure

What Each Game Page Includes

Every MLB game page follows the same structure, so you always know where to look. The public sections are built from the schedule feed and the game data package; the written breakdown itself is reserved for members.

Game overview

Competition, date, start time in UTC, venue, the current status or final score, and the public moneyline, run line and game total lines exactly as the feed posts them.

Market-implied win probability

The two moneylines are de-vigged into a fair two-way probability. It is the market's estimate of the game, shown as a reference point — not a Sportslyx pick.

Team statistics and form

Recent record, scoring in the sample and the last five results for both sides, drawn from the game data package once it has been built for the slate.

Head-to-head history

Previous meetings with date, competition, score and winner where the feed carries them, so the matchup is read against its own history rather than the season table alone.

AI breakdown preview

A description of what the members-only analysis weighs for MLB — probable starting pitchers, recent form, team run scoring and pitching statistics, market lines and movement and head-to-head history — with the written read itself behind the 7-day trial.

Grading rules

How a read on this game is settled: the result it is graded from, what counts as a push or a void, and where the graded record is published month by month.

MLB Game Analysis FAQ

How often is the MLB schedule on this page updated?

Several times a day through a season that runs daily from late March to the postseason in October. Postponements and doubleheaders reshuffle the window more than in any other sport: a postponed game disappears from its date and returns on the make-up day, sometimes as the second game of a doubleheader. Evening games in North America cross midnight UTC, so the date shown is the board date.

What moves MLB lines before first pitch?

The probable starting pitcher. Lines are often withheld until both starters are announced, and a late scratch can pull the moneyline and re-post it at a different price. Totals move with the starters and recent run scoring on both sides. Player prop lines — pitcher strikeouts, outs, walks, earned runs and hits allowed; batter hits, walks, runs and RBIs — follow the same public feed and are graded from the official box score.

What does the market-implied percentage mean?

It is the moneyline pair converted into a fair probability by removing the bookmaker margin — a two-way de-vig. It reflects what the market is pricing and it is the same number the Sportslyx board uses as its anchor. It is not a Sportslyx prediction of the outcome, and it does not reveal which side the members-only breakdown favors.

Is the AI analysis for each game shown on this page?

No. Each game page describes what the breakdown covers — probable starting pitchers, recent form, team run scoring and pitching statistics, market lines and movement and head-to-head history — but the written analysis, its data-quality tier and the board read are members-only. A 7-day Pro trial opens them, and every read is graded afterwards and published on the Pick Tracker.

Reading the numbers

How to Read the Lines on This Page

The run line is shown from the home side: a negative number means the home team is favored by that margin, a positive number means it is the underdog. The game total is the combined score the market expects, quoted as over/under. The moneyline is the price to win outright in American odds — negative for the favorite, positive for the underdog.

Lines move with probable starting pitchers and market flow, sometimes by several points between the opening number and kickoff. The figures on this page are a snapshot from the last feed refresh, not the closing line, and the market-implied probability follows the moneyline that was available at render time.

Honest limits

Data Freshness and Limitations

Schedules, scores and lines come from public feeds and can lag the venue by minutes. Lines are often missing early in the week and can be withdrawn when a team is in doubt; a game without a moneyline pair has no market-implied probability, and its page carries a noindex tag until there is something to show. Team data packages are built for the upcoming slate by scheduled jobs and can be partial for thin fixtures or early-season games.

The market-implied probability is only as good as the moneyline it is derived from, and the members-only breakdown is a language-model read of the data that can be wrong. Nothing on these pages is advice. Past graded results — published on the Pick Tracker — do not predict future ones; the rules behind every number are on the Methodology and Data Sources pages.
