Build Soccer Combos With Data-Driven Analytics
Soccer combos price match result and goal totals from a shared goal model, so a home win and an under are priced with their real correlation.
How it works
How Soccer Combos Work
Soccer combos are priced from one goal model per match. The builder reads the 1X2 match odds and goal totals from the public feed, then adds league table and form, goals and shots per match as a proxy for chance quality, rest and fixture congestion, and head-to-head history. Legs — match result, goal totals, team totals and both teams to score — are read from that shared distribution.
The draw makes soccer different. A home win and an under are correlated through the same low-scoring script, but a draw sits in the middle of both, and the model prices it explicitly inside the match-result leg. Outside the builder, Sportslyx’s single board reads treat a draw as a push — that rule is stated openly on the soccer predictions page because it changes how the published record should be read. Saved tickets are graded from the official final score. Team news is often confirmed an hour before kick-off, and the model knows only what the feed has reported.
Markets
Soccer Markets You Can Combine
These are the soccer markets Sportslyx actually prices from the public feed. Each one is a region of the same score distribution, which is what lets the builder price them together.
1X2 match odds
Home win, draw or away win. Three outcomes, not two — the draw takes real probability and interacts with every goals leg.
Goal totals
Combined goals over or under a line, usually 2.5. Tied to both teams’ attacking and defensive profiles and to the match state; the strongest correlation in a soccer ticket.
Draw-no-bet context
How a match-result leg would look with the draw removed. Shown as context so you can see how much of the home or away price the draw is absorbing before you pair it with a goals leg.
Worked example
Correlation in Soccer Matches
A home side priced near even to win with the total at 2.5. “Home win” and “under 2.5” look like two coin flips, but a defensively solid home team that wins tends to win 1–0 or 2–0 — outcomes that sit under the line. The two legs are positively correlated; the naive product is too low.
Add “both teams to score” to a home win and the sign flips: BTTS needs the away side to score, which cuts into the 1–0 and 2–0 outcomes that make the home win likely. The builder prices each combination from a single goal model that already contains the draw and the scoreline distribution for this match, so the joint price moves with the legs. Rotation and fixture congestion can change who starts late — the match page carries the latest form and availability the feed has.
The general version of this argument — why one score model beats multiplied legs — is on the combos overview, and the rules used to grade every saved ticket are on the pick tracker.

Soccer Combo FAQ
Which soccer legs can I combine?
Match result (1X2), goal totals, team totals and both teams to score from a single match, priced from one goal model.
How is the draw handled in a soccer combo?
Inside the builder the draw is a real outcome with its own probability in the match-result leg. Single board reads elsewhere on Sportslyx grade a draw as a push; the soccer predictions page states that rule and what it means for the published hit rate.
Which competitions are covered?
The major European leagues, MLS and the main cup and international competitions available on the public schedule feed. Goals and shots per match come from the feed and stand in for chance quality; expected-goals feeds are not ingested.
Do I need Pro for Soccer combos?
Yes. The Combo Builder is available on Pro and above, and inside the 7-day Pro trial. Starter includes Soccer breakdowns and the daily board but not combos or Studio.
