How Valorant Reads Are Graded

Every Valorant board read is a series read, graded automatically from the final map score in the public feed; nothing is entered or edited by hand. A read lost by exactly one map — 1–2 in a best-of-three, 2–3 in a best-of-five — is graded as a push and returns the stake, the way a draw does on the sports side.

That rule is generous, and this page says so. The price recorded for a read is the plain series moneyline, and a book that prices the series that way does not return the stake on a one-map defeat. Profit and ROI here are therefore higher than strict win/loss settlement at the same prices would show, and the hit rate is higher than a count where those series are losses. Read the pushes column alongside the hit rate.

The board reads only best-of-three and best-of-five series, the formats where a one-map push exists. Best-of-one and best-of-two series are covered on the schedule but not read. Part of the prices come from a free public bookmaker feed and part are model estimates where no book prices the series, which is why ROI is labelled “partly est. prices”. Past results do not predict future results; nothing on this page is betting advice.
